Scented candles can bring fragrance and ambiance to any room. Our candles are infused with essential oils and created with all natural ingredients. These types of candles can offer health benefits but is it safe to add dried herbs and/or flowers to candles?

Dried flowers can add beautiful color and additional scent to candles but having flowers too close to the wick could pose a significant fire hazard.
We place our dried flowers closer to the edge of the candle. We also make sure dried flowers are chopped into small, fine pieces as larger flowers could add to the fire hazard. Dried flowers are added during the candle making process and are soaked in the hot wax prior to cooling down the candle. This allows the dried flowers to submerge a bit and solidify within the wax. If flowers are added to the entire candle, not just the top layer, we pour in layers, adding small pieces of dried flower to each layer. With proper placement, and pouring techniques, we are able to offer a candle that is filled with amazing fragrance, health benefits, and safe to use.
Please note: Do not place dry flowers directly on top of candles that are ready to use.
